How does it activate?
Simply drop the fish into water and it starts swimming automatically — no buttons or switches needed. A water-contact sensor on the bottom detects the water and powers on the motor and LEDs. Take it out and it turns off on its own.
What kind of water does it work in?
AquaPet works in any water — bowls, sinks, bathtubs, paddling pools, you name it. Fresh tap water works perfectly. It's designed for indoor use and supervised water play.
How long does the battery last?
Each set of AG13 batteries gives you several hours of active swimming time. Pro tip: run 2 fish at a time and swap every 3-5 minutes to maximize battery life. The batteries are standard AG13 button cells and are easy to replace.
Is it safe for cats and pets?
Yes! Cats absolutely love watching AquaPet swim. The fish is sealed and waterproof, so there's nothing harmful for pets. Just make sure your cat doesn't knock the bowl over — they get very enthusiastic. Always supervise pets around water.
Does it come with a bowl?
No — the bowl is not included. Each AquaPet comes with the robotic fish and a decorative water plant prop. You can use any bowl, vase, or container you already have at home. A clear glass bowl shows off the LED glow effect best.
